A delegation from the Alumni Association of NIBS University, Accra, is participating in the 2026 Engaged Management Scholarship (EMS) Conference at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain.
The international conference, organised by the Executive DBA Council (EDBAC), is taking place from July 15 to 18, 2026, and has brought together academics, researchers, professionals, and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) scholars from around the world to share research, exchange ideas, and strengthen global academic and professional collaborations.
NIBS University said its participation was made possible through the leadership and support of its President, Dr. Sylvester Nyamekye, who facilitated and coordinated the attendance of alumni members and students at this year’s conference.
The Ghanaian delegation includes Dr. Sylvester Nyamekye, Dr. David Amoo-Osae Jnr., Dr. Owusu Badu, Dr. Mohammed Kallon, Dr. Steven Amanor, Dr. Kwabena Situ, and other members of the Alumni Association.

The participants received official invitations from Dr. Jeanette Miller, President of EDBAC and Faculty Director of the Doctor of Business Administration programme at the Smeal College of Business, The Pennsylvania State University.
According to NIBS University, participation in the conference reflects its commitment to promoting academic excellence, research, international partnerships, and leadership development.
The university noted that the conference also provides students and alumni with valuable opportunities for global networking, knowledge exchange, and professional growth.
Meanwhile, the President of the NIBS University Alumni Association indicated that members can expect more opportunities to participate in international conferences in the future as part of efforts to expand global engagement and professional development.
