Ghana’s Black Princesses have qualified for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted by Poland, after overcoming Uganda 3-2 on aggregate in the final round of the qualifiers.
The qualification means Ghana have now reached the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup for the eighth consecutive time, extending the country’s strong record in women’s youth football.
The Black Princesses showed resilience across the two-legged tie to secure their place on the world stage once again, underlining Ghana’s consistency in the women’s U-20 game.
With qualification now sealed, attention is expected to shift to preparations for the tournament in Poland, which is scheduled from 5 to 27 September 2026.
