The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation has announced the commencement of registration for Phase 2 of the One Million Coders Programme (OMCP), offering more young people the opportunity to gain digital and coding skills.
A notice announcing the opening urged interested applicants to visit the official portal and begin the application process.
“Registration for Phase 2 of the One Million Coders Program (OMCP) is now open. Visit the OMCP portal today and take your first step toward a future in tech.”
No Need to Reapply for Previous Applicants
The update also brings relief to applicants who took part in the pilot or Phase One but were not selected.
According to the notice, such applicants do not need to submit fresh applications.
“If you applied during the pilot or Phase One and were not selected, there is no need to reapply. Simply log in to your account with your previous credentials and select your preferred course when the portal reopens.”
