Janet Egyiri, a Ghanaian footballer, has given donations to her former club, Hasaacas Ladies.
On Thursday, November 2, 2023, Hasaacas ladies confirmed that the club had received a substantial donation from the club’s former skipper.
Janet Egyiri presented the donation, which included items such as food and toiletries, to the team’s players and management during a training session at Bompeh Senior Technical School.
Hasaacas Ladies are currently preparing for their week 2 match against Essiam Socrates Ladies in the Malta Guinness Women Premier League. The team won a crucial 1-0 match against the Sea Lions on Matchday One of the 2023-24 Women’s Premier League season.
The current Black Queens captain played for Hasaacas Ladies and helped them reach the finals of the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League in the 2020/21 season. Janet later agreed to terms with Israeli club Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC on a one-year contract.
At the WAFU Women’s Cup in 2018, she was named the tournament’s best player.
Janet Egyiri is a defender for Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC in the Israeli Women’s Premier League, and she is the captain of the Black Queens team.
