The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has opened its 2026/2027 enlistment exercise, inviting qualified Ghanaians interested in joining the military to apply.
The announcement was made on Monday, August 31, 2026, through the official social media handles of the Ghana Armed Forces.
According to a flyer shared by the Armed Forces, the online application portal will open on Friday, September 4, 2026.
The Armed Forces said interested applicants can find the detailed requirements for the exercise on pages 15 to 19 of the August 31 edition of the Ghanaian Times.
The GAF also cautioned prospective applicants and the general public to beware of scammers during the enlistment exercise.
It advised applicants to rely only on information published through its verified social media platforms and other official communication channels.
The verified social media accounts listed by GAF include Ghana Armed Forces Official on Facebook, gharmedforcesofficial on Instagram and GhArmedForces on X.
Prospective applicants are advised to follow these official platforms for further information and updates on the 2026/2027 enlistment exercise.
