Following the disruption in network connectivity on Thursday, March 14, 2024, the University of Ghana has had to cancel its scheduled online Interim Assessment for students. Additionally, online lectures have been put on hold until the connectivity issues are resolved.
The suspension of online lectures and assessments has raised concerns among students and faculty members about the continuity of learning and assessment processes. The university administration is looking forward to restoring normalcy to its virtual learning environment as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the National Communication Authority has reported that addressing the broader network connectivity problem across the country may take approximately five weeks.
Students and faculty are encouraged to stay informed through official channels for updates on when online lectures and assessments will resume at the University of Ghana.
