The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has suspended its ongoing End-of-Second-Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year with immediate effect.
The University said the decision is to allow management to address outstanding administrative and logistical matters relating to the examinations.
In a notice dated August 15, 2026, the Directorate of Academic Affairs informed students and the wider university community that a revised examination schedule would be announced by the close of day on Monday, August 17, 2026.
“The suspension is to enable the University to address outstanding administrative and logistical matters in relation to the examinations,” the notice stated.
UHAS has therefore advised students to remain available and closely monitor the University’s official communication channels for updates on when the examinations will resume.
“A revised schedule would be communicated by close of day on Monday August 17, 2026. Students are therefore advised to remain available and monitor the University’s official communication channels for further information,” the University said.
Management expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the suspension and appealed for the cooperation of students, staff and other members of the university community.

The notice was issued by the Directorate of Academic Affairs and signed by Dr Cedric B. Dorkenoo, for the Registrar.
The University did not provide further details on the specific administrative and logistical issues that necessitated the suspension.
