The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Cambridge Education to support Ghana’s ongoing education reform agenda.
The agreement was signed at the ongoing Education World Forum, where the Minister said the partnership would provide a clear and practical framework for collaboration in key areas of the education sector.
According to Mr Iddrisu, the MoU will support system analysis, curriculum and assessment strengthening, teacher professional development, and the integration of cross-cutting priorities such as climate education and artificial intelligence.
The partnership is expected to contribute to efforts to improve the quality and relevance of education in Ghana, especially as the country seeks to align teaching and learning with emerging global demands.
The inclusion of climate education and artificial intelligence also points to a broader shift towards preparing students and teachers for changing environmental and technological realities.
The agreement marks another step in the Ministry’s efforts to build international partnerships to support policy reform, teacher capacity and improved learning outcomes across the country.
