Students of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have showcased their creativity through an innovative fashion project focused on sustainability and modern design.
Level 300 Clothing and Textiles students presented the project as part of their practical training, demonstrating how fashion can be used to address environmental challenges.
Students Transform Waste into Fashion Pieces
In the first phase of the project, students used waste materials to create unique and visually striking outfits.
The designs highlighted how discarded items can be transformed into functional and stylish fashion pieces, promoting environmental sustainability.





Modern Designs with Fresh Fabrics
In the second phase, students designed and sewed outfits using new fabrics, showcasing their skills in contemporary fashion design.
The collections reflected creativity, precision, and an understanding of modern fashion trends.



The event also gave students the chance to apply what they have learned in class and develop practical skills.
Many who watched the show said it was a good example of how young people can use creativity to make a positive impact in society.
