Right To Dream Secures Major Scholarships For Ghanaian Prospects

Management of the Right to Dream Academy has secured major scholarships for their students to study at top-notch high schools and universities in the US.

So far, over 40 students including the first-two girls to graduate from the Academy are currently studying on students’ athlete scholarship at the best private high schools in the US and the UK as well.

“The sort of institutions we are talking about are the very best private high schools; the likes of Hotchkiss, over ten of our graduates have gone there since 2006”, the Administrative Principal of Right to Dream, James Meller told XYZ Sports.

He added that, over the years, they have seen their graduates progress on scholarships from high school to top universities including UCLA, Georgetown, UCSB and others, and come with fantastic degrees securing jobs with big companies.

“Now we are starting to see our graduates coming out of those institutions with fantastic degrees securing jobs with top companies like IBM and PVH Core” he said.

He noted that they are seeing the fruits of the hard work and dedication of the kids when they started their journey at the age of 10 growing up to about 21 with fantastic jobs, skills, experience and the mind-set that at some point they will come back and have positive impact on the community and the country that is in their hearts.

The recruitment team of the academy was at Tapas Park in the Ashanti Region on Saturday to harness female talents between the ages of 9 and 11.

Newly recruited girls will join their colleagues in the Right to Dream girls programme at the academy house in Akosombo.
