Photo Report: UG Vice Chancellor And Dean Of Students Inspire Basketball Team To Victory

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu together with the Dean of Students, Professor Francis Kofi Ewusie Nunoo have visited the University team at the on-going Mini GUSA games on University of Cape Coast campus in Cape Coast.

The two, paid a surprise visit to the team in Cape Coast in order to inspire and urge them to win more trophies for the university at this year's Mini GUSA games. They took time to watch the quarterfinals basketball match between Team UG and Team KNUST.

The presence of the two personalities in the stands during a basketball game inspired Team UG to an impressive victory over their KNUST counterparts Tuesday morning.

Interestingly, the Dean of Students joined other students and supporters of University of Ghana basketball team to cheer the team on.

At the end of the game, UG scored 45 points against KNUST's 35 points to book their place in the finals of this year's basketball competition at the Mini GUSA games.
