Legon police are currently looking for burglars who broke into former SRC president of the University of Ghana, Miss Esinam Afi Seade's room at Dr Hilla Limann Hall.

The break-and-enter took place last week between 8:00am and 5:00pm on Friday, 14th July, 2017 while she was away. Esinam came back to meet her room door broken into and valuable items stolen.

All Is Set For 2017 UG Staff Games

The University of Ghana Sports Directorate will hold a two-day sporting and recreational activities for the staff of the University on Thursday, 13th July and end on Friday, 14th July, 2017.

This is aimed at enhancing the fitness, health, well-being and holistic development of students, staff and the University Community.

The list of students who have met the requirements for the award of various degrees in their respective disciplines has been published on the university's website.

The car park and the main entrance of Mensah Sarbah main hall at the University of Ghana are all flooded after Friday's rain.

Although the cause of the flood is yet to be identified, some residents say, it is as a result of a burst pipe along the road close to the enterance of the hall.

UCC SRC Urges Students To Remain Calm

The Students Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has called on students of the University to remain calm following the rustication of the 22 students.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Mr Tony Henry Arthur, SRC President assured the students that the Council was using all available internal resolution processes and mechanisms to resolve the matter.
