Volunteer Abroad Program

As part of our mission, GhCampus in conjunction with a number of NGOs in Ghana is offering Volunteer Abroad program for high school students across the world.

The Volunteer Abroad Program is divided into the following themes:
Under this exchange program, participants will be assigned to basic schools in the vicinity to provide education services to student from kindergarten to Junior High school level. Subjects under this category include ICT, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, etc.
• Child Care
Childcare volunteer project is one of the most challenging and rewarding volunteer program you can get involved in. It enables you to work with disadvantage children who need love, affection and care. Orphanages, street children centers, kindergartens, day care centers, etc are areas that we place volunteers to.

• Health
Participants under this exchange program will be assigned to the various health facilities in the vicinity. They will assist the officials in their work.
• Community Development
Our community development volunteer program seeks to empower individuals and groups of people by providing them with the skills they need to affect change in their own communities. The volunteers under this program are assigned to various NGOs who are in collaboration with us.

Note: Apart from the volunteer work, life in Ghana is relaxed and easy. By spending time with the locals you will learn about their elaborate festivals, the local cuisine famous dishes, their colourful dresses, music and dances, tourist sites, politics and hospitality of Ghanaians.
