The West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement (WACCI) at the University of Ghana (UG) is set to release three new hybrid maize varieties onto the Ghanaian market for cultivation and consumption.

This follows approval and recommendation from the National Variety Release and Registration Committee (NVRRC) of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA).
