Free SHS: A Sham Or Reality?

I have always believed that for Ghana to truly live up to the ideals and vision of the founding father Dr. Kwame Nkrumah that “the independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it is linked to the total liberation of Africa,” the masses must be educated. This statement was true and relevant at the time of independence and even more relevant today.

GES To Post New Teachers By Next Week

The 2016/2017 graduates of the various Colleges of Education will be posted to various stations across the country from next week.

According to the Ghana Education Service (GES), its management is awaiting the release of their final examination results for the posting to commence.

Free SHS: 310,000 Students Get Placement

A total of 310, 000 out of the 427,000 students who qualify for admission into senior high schools (SHSs) have been placed in various schools and have all printed their admission letters through the Ministry of Education’s portal for submission.
