Lecture Hour: African Culture And Wellness

The mistakes committed by the unsophisticated chiefs who traded their energetic young ones for a pittance in the past are still done by our leaders of today. Talk about slavery if you would not find our chiefs there.

We tend to blame the West for almost all our failures when we are indeed the very people at the helm of affairs. Aren't we?

Words of the sages say that if you let alone a bird to perch on your head it builds a nest. Our leaders today to curry favour with the West allow all sort of policies including Gay marriage and Genetically Modified Foods to name a few into the country.

Will the West accept some form of culture from us? Do we still even have Culture and History as subjects in our basic schools.

The people we blame for our woes are the same people our leaders help to execute their interest. We the Africans are our own enemies. Consider these questions:

# Do you think our culture has some influence on our leadership skills as a people?
# Do you suspect the sort of food eaten these days is affecting our thinking?

Join Hayford, today at 2pm on "Lecture Hour " - Radio Univers 105.7fm as he deconstructs the topic "African Culture and Wellness" with Dr. Sharita Yazid, Naturopathic Doctor/Holistic Lifestyle expert.
