The controversy surrounding the leadership of University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Governing Council currently in court does not seem ending soon in the sight of other actors particularly the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG-UEW) chapter as reported to have joined the on going legal tussle leading to pronouncement of strike by the association is a hoax since it not in the interest of the larger membership. 

Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Minister of Education, has advised Ghanaian teachers, particularly those serving in public basic schools, to strive to live up to the demands of their job.

He said they ought to demonstrate high sense of discipline, commitment and respect for the code of conduct of their profession in order to enhance quality education delivery.
