Ricks Institute Marks UN Day

[Mohammed Rabiu Adam, Monrovia, Liberia] The 72nd anniversary of the United Nation ceremony in the Republic of Liberia was observed by Ricks Institute with speeches from the students representing various Nations.

The King of Morocco, King Mohammed has arrived in Accra, Ghana for a three day State visit. He was met on arrival by the Vice President, Dr. Mohamadu Bawumia, Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayokor Botchway and other Ministers of State. In order to ensure full implementation of their new dress code for students, the management of University of Lagos in Nigeria, has given the mandate to lecturers and administrators to exclude students from academic activities if they are not properly dressed.

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has issued a new dress code for students, saying it has been observed that some students, both female and male students wear inappropriate and indecent dresses on campus, even to lectures.

As a result, the school banned tight-fitting clothes such as tight pair of trousers, mini-skirts, blouses and other body revealing ones.
