GRASAG National Congratulates Winners Of 2017 Election

The Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG) National has congratulated the winners of this year's elections held at KNUST on Sunday, 6th August, 2017.

"Your victory is a reward for your dedication, perseverance and sustained determination amidst months of travels across the country in campaigning to delegates," the statement said.

The National Executive Committee ( NEC), on behalf of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Congress and the over 20, 000 members of the Association Congratulates all persons who emerged as winners of the just ended election at the 23RD ANNUAL DELEGATE CONGRESS held at KNUST Kumasi.

Your victory is a reward for your dedication, perseverance and sustained determination amidst months of travels across the country in campaigning to delegates.

2. Lily Appiah, KNUST...Vice President Elect

3. Jacob Ayembilla, UG... Secretary Elect

4. Raymond Achiyaale, UCC....Financial Controller Elect

5. Kwesi Yamoah Abaidoo, KNUST.....Organising Coordinator Elect

6. Saadatu Lawal Garbey, UG.....Gender Commissioner elect

You are encouraged to work hard for the unification of members institutions as reflected in the decision by congress to elect you from different set of schools. You are also entreated to work towards the emancipation of all members through dialogue with appropriate authorities.

To the winners, celebrate your victory in moderation as you prepare to take over the wheel to steer the affairs for one academic year.

To the losers , you fought a good fight, your messages and policies were communicated well to delegates, however, you were not successful. Only one person can be a winner for each portfolio. Let's all unite behind our elected officers and offer our constructive criticisms that have the tendency to propel our association forward.
We also use this opportunity to also congratulate all award winners.
