A former Deputy Minister of Health under John Mahama's administration, Rojo Mettle Nunoo, has disclosed that about 1,400 personnel had been shortlisted and ready to be recruited as staff of the University of Ghana Medical Centre before the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lost political power to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

UG, KNUST Caused Delay In Release Of Bursary

The delay in release of Bursary and Thesis grant for the 2016/2017 has been attributed to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and University of Ghana (UG) Legon for failure on their part to sort out students application forms according to their respective courses before submitting to the Scholarship Secretariat for onward process.

134 UG Students Receive GNPC Scholarship

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation has awarded scholarship packages worth Gh¢9,000, Gh¢10,000 and Gh¢12,000 to undergraduate, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and PhD students respectively, especially those studying science related programmes at the various public tertiary universities across the country.
