The Quiz, loved by many does not only encourage and enhance healthy competition and rivalry amongst students and old students of senior high schools, but it offers a great opportunity for participants who represent their schools to learn and acquire valuable skills.
Notre Dame Girls shared their experience so far in this year's competition with GhCampus' Eric Nana Agyemang after losing to Aggrey Memorial SHS in a very competitive 1/8th contest on Saturday, 17th June, 2017.
They acknowledged that representing their school in this year's competition has made them faster, accurate and precise in answering questions.
"Science and Math Quiz has helped us in the sense that we can now work faster compared to before and it has increased our accuracy and precision," one of them said.
The girls hope to share their experiences with their juniors who will represent their school in the next edition in order to prepare well for the competition.
Notre Dame girls exits the 2017 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz after a promising performance at the Preliminaries and a stunning intellectual display at the 1/8 stage today.
Aggrey Memorial, at the end of the contest accumulated 42 points to progress to the 1/4 stage, leaving Notre Dame Girls SHS with 41 points and 34 for Nandom SHS.
The National Science and Maths Quiz, produced by Primetime Limited is sponsored by Ghana Education Service through the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools(CHASS) and supported by Tigo, GOIL, Prudential Life Insurance, Accra College of Medicine and GCB Bank.
