UPSA Student Crowned Face Of GUPS

[By: Daniel Addo,] Ms. Benedicta Sakyiwaa, a level 100 student of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), has been crowned Face of Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS). 

Offering Bsc. Accounting, Benedicta becomes the first contestant from UPSA to win the coveted crown since the pageantry show started.

Two contestants were drawn from  five participating institutions making a total of twelve contestants who competed for the enviable crown.

Out of the number, five were eliminated at the early stages of the competition whiles seven progressed to the finals. 

After competitive rounds at the grand finale, Benedicta Sakyiwaa from UPSA was crowned as the new Face of GUPS 2017.

Participating institutions include: University College of Management Studies (UCOMS), Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE, School of Social Work (SSW), National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
