The event, which was organised by LW productions, Gospel Town Africa and Viasat 1 TV took place at the National theatre over the weekend, 13th March 2016.
After Keenly contested rounds of renditions, the panel of judges who included the likes of Ps Helen Yawson, Ms Diana Hopeson, Obed Psych, Noble Nketia among others declared GHAMSU Int. Choir -UEW as the overall winners with a score of 265. First and second runners up were Stewards choir-247 and Wizy choir -243.5 respectively.
The win came as a surprise to the entire student body of UEW because they were not aware GHAMSU Int. Choir's participation in the competition. This was largely due to the fact that, they were overshadowed by the Chaplaincy Choir also from UEW.
