The Executives of the University Students’ Association of Ghana (USAG) are demanding an unqualified apology from an Accra-based television network, TV3 for hosting one Joseph Agyekum who claimed to be the president of the Association during the station’s News @10 broadcast on Saturday, 28th October, 2017.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Hon. Emmanuel Agyarko has bemoaned the current state of students' movement and leadership in the country particularly the leadership of National Union of Ghana students (NUGS), the mother body of all students' associations in Ghana.
The University Students’ Association of Ghana (USAG) has expressed great loathing for what it describes as ‘grave defects’ in the Ghanaian Universities curriculum.
At a press briefing on Thursday, the association noted that “our so called acclaimed curriculum which is supposed to fix the biases and industrial problems of the economy as we speak have extremely very few complementarities at the industrial front.”
