Academic activities have come to a halt at the Gyaama Pensan Senior High Technical School in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region, following a protest by students against their headmaster.

The project dubbed "Girls Can Code" is to develop the interest of girls to take up careers in ICT by exposing them to basics in computer coding.

WASSCE To Delay By One Month

The West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) scheduled for February will be delayed by a month, a Deputy Education Minister in charge of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has disclosed.

He was invited to answer questions over an alleged fraud activities in the school feeding programme.
