UPSA Governing Council Inaugurated

The governing council of the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) has been inaugurated with Dr. Kofi Ohene-Konadu as its chair and the Vice Chancellor as a member.

In 2011, Prof. Evans Atta-Mills cut the sod for the commencement of the University following the enactment of an Act 830 of Ghana's parliament.

In 2012, Prof. Esi Awuah matriculated the first batch of students as the foundation Vice Chancellor.

The Minister of Education, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has underscored the importance of teacher education in improving quality of education at the junior and high school levels.

As Ghana join the rest of the world today [12th August, 2017] to mark International Youth Day (IYD), the Eastern Regional branch of Trade Union Congress (TUC) is calling on government to create decent jobs for the youth.
