University Of Ghana Installs Biometric Verification Machines At The Halls Of Residence

In the quest to beef up security on campus especially at the Halls of residence, the management of the University of Ghana has started installation of biometric verification machines at the entrance of all Halls on Legon campus.

Once these machines are successfully installed, students or visitors to various Halls on campus will have to be verified by their Cruz ID cards before they are allowed entry.

This measure is to deny unauthorized persons access to the halls of residence to engage in thievery and other related crimes.

Technicians have started work on the installation on Thursday, 03 December 2015 at the Volta Hall.
