The president, at a low-key ceremony presented the chairs for use at SNAS reading room to the leadership on the Atomic campus.
Delivering the furniture, Mr. Nana Asafo-Adjei said, this is to help create a comfortable learning environment for all students on Atomic campus of University of Ghana.
He said, top on his priority list is, to ensure that all graduate students feel comfortable in order to undertake their academic and research works.
To this end, he noted that similar projects had been completed at other graduate campuses of University of Ghana.
"We have recently refurbished the reading room at the graduate block at Akuafo hall on main campus, a similar one is currently ongoing at the Korle-Bu campus," he said.
Dr Vincent Agbodemegbe, a lecturer at the School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences, who witnessed the presentation, lauded the initiative undertaken by the president and hoped for a continues cordial relationship between Legon campus and Atomic campus.
President of SNAS, Mr. Emmanuel Komla Nyogbe, who received the chair on behalf of students on Atomic campus, thanked the GRASAG president for the gesture.
He assured that the chairs will be put to good use and kept well at all times.
