UEW Goes To The Polls To Choose New SRC Leaders

Students of University of Education, Winneba have started forming long queues at various designated voting centers Monday morning  to choose their new leaders for 2017/2018 academic year.

According to reports from our representatives, turnout so far has been encouraging.

"Turnouts in the early hours is great," Chief Okoro reported.

This election promises to be a critical one, in that the current Students' Representatives (SRC) executives have been accused of not working in the interest of students.

This led to a situation where some aggrieved students took the law into their own hands to distract SRC Week Celebrations organized two weeks ago.
