UDS gets new governing council

A new governing council for the University of Development Studies (UDS), has been inaugurated to steer the affairs of the school for the next five years.

The 14 member council is chaired by Professor Stephen Kendie.

The Minister of Education, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman, inaugurated the Council on behalf of the President. She charged the council to maintain the high standards of the University. She appealed to them to be guided by the laws establishing the school in all their undertakings.

Professor Opoku Agyemang commended the outgoing council for doing a good job during its tenure.

The Chairman of the Council, Professor Stephen Kendie, assured Ghanaians they will live up to expectation.
