In an interview, spokes person for the vetting committee, Mr. Robert Atsu Okor said that the vetting process was generally successful. He was however quick to add that, some aspirants having read the provisions as regards this year's elections still appeared before the vetting committee knowing very well they do not meet the requirement, especially regarding their CGPAs.

In addition, some of the aspirants seem unprepared as they failed to answer questions pertaining to their office couple with other minor issues such as mistakes and omissions on aspirants CV among others.

Per the results, this year's SRC Presidency is going to be keenly contested between candidates with same surname as in Patrick Agyei, a student of Business Administration and Joseph Agyei, a student of English Language respectively.
