Akatsi College Of Education SRC Presents 7th SRC Week Celebration

Students of Akatsi College of Education (AKATSICO) and fun lovers will experience at first hand, a packed and exciting week of fun as the Students' Representative Council (SRC) of the college presents its SRC week celebration starting this weekend.

Now in its 7th year, the week celebration starts today [Saturday, 20th May, 2017] after a one-year hiatus in 2016 due to some challenges which led to the cancellation of the most entertaining event on campus.

According to GhCampus.com's Ambassador Kennedy Hatekah, the Executives of the SRC led by Mr Malm Miracle have promised a week of fun, amusement and thought provoking activities that all students will enjoy.

The 7th SRC week celebration is organised under the theme: "Prioritising Teacher Education: An Essential Ingredient For National Development" and will be graced by great personalities such as Volta Regional Minister, Hon. Archibald Yao Letsa,  GNAT Ag. National President, Mrs Philippa Larsen and Member of Parliament (MP) for Akatsi South, Hon. Bernard Ahiafor.

The week celebration commences with Face of Akatsico pageantry show to find the King and Queens of the college. The winners will represent the college at the next Face Of Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana Volta sector (Face of TTAG Volta).

The general public is welcomed to this great event on the academic calender.

The week celebration will end on Sunday, 28th May, 2017.
