UG: IPO Holds Orientation For 2017/2018 International Students

The International Programmes Office (IPO) at the University of Ghana, Legon has held a two-day orientation for international students for the first semester of 2017/2018 academic year.

The orientation program is aimed at helping these students properly integrate into the Ghanaian academic system and also help them fully get accustomed to the Ghanaian way of life and culture.

The program was packed with insightful presentations from various resource persons on UG Academic activities and Examinations, use of the Balme Library, Ghanaian Culture, Sports Directorate, Dean of Students, ISH hall management, SRC and Volunteer institutions among others.

Every semester, University of Ghana receive international students from different parts of the world, who come to study for either one or two semesters.

The University of Ghana officially welcomes all international students to the first semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Life at the University of Ghana is filled with insightful education, cultural and diverse social experience.

We encourage all international students to embrace the life and culture of this rich society and build on the academic discipline which we pride. We wish all international students a wonderful stay on campus.
